Research Activities

I am a researcher with a focus on infectious disease, biofilms, novel therapeutics, immunology and animal models. I have strong experience in the purification of bioactive compounds, Drug development, Microbial biofilms, Bacterial infections, Host-Pathogen interactions, DNA/RNA sequencing for Genomics / Transcriptomics / Proteomics / Metabolomics, Immunology, transgenic mice models, Cancer research, Immunohistochemistry, confocal and electron microscopy, synthesis and application of nanoparticles.

Mice and Rat handling. Animal Surgery, Organ transplantation, Different administration routes including intra-tracheal, Anesthesia, In vivo imaging (IVIS), RNA isolation from in vivo samples. Collection of heart blood and serum preparation.
Cytokine measurements, Neutrophil, Macrophage staining and quantification and T cells staining Tumor immunology, Preparation of cells from, Gut Associated Lymphatic Tissues (GALT), Peyer`s Patches (PP), Lamina Propria (LP), Spleen, Lymph nodes (mesenteric, popliteal, inguinal and axillary), Peritoneal cavity, Bone Marrow, and Blood.
Biofilms: formation and disruption on various surfaces, Surface tensiometeric analysis (CMC, SFT, IFT), Extraction and Purification of bioactive & surface-active
