Career Development Award Winners

The 2016 VIIN Career Development Awards have been won by Dr Michelle Tate (below right) from the Centre for Innate Immunity and Infectious Diseases at the Hudson Institute and Dr Johanna Fraser (below left) from Monash University's Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.

Michelle will be speaking on Friday 19 February at the upcoming Lorne Infection and Immunity Conference on how Targeting the NLRP3 inflammasome is a viable option for the treatment of pathogenic influenza virus infections and Johanna will be presenting her poster Dynamic nucleolar targeting of dengue virus polymerase NS5 in response to extracellular pH at the meeting. The VIIN Career Development Award covers their registration at the conference.
