Research Activities

Research is primarily focussed on two major areas-
(1) Immunity to Hepatitis C virus infection
(2) MHC class-I associated drug hypersensitivities

Collaborative research includes-
Biochemistry and cell biology of Antigen presentation
Structural basis of T cell recognition
Recognition of CD1d-lipid-antigen by the semi-invariant NKT T-cell receptor
Vaccine development

Techniques/Expertise

Cellular immunity, Viral immunology and Vaccine development.
