Research Activities

Dr. Yim's current research focuses on the investigation of the role of gut microbiota in the development of colorectal cancer. He is interested in understanding the pathogenesis of colorectal cancer and identifying the host or microbial factors leading to this disease. He is also interested in translating these research outcome into therapeutic and preventive strategies to tackle or protect against the disease.
