Research Activities

Our work examines the biology underpinning leukocyte recruitment, a hallmark of inflammation. We make use of advanced forms of in vivo imaging such as multiphoton microscopy to image inflamed organs. Current research is focussing on inflammation of the kidney, and the mechanisms of regulatory T cell recruitment to inflamed skin

Techniques/Expertise

intravital microscopy
multiphoton microscopy
spinning disk confocal microscopy
endothelial biology

Disease Models

Glomerulonephritis
Contact sensitivity

Genetically Modified Organisms

Reporter mice for neutrophils, monocytes/macrophages, regulatory T cells, dendritic cells, and MHCII+ cells
